it's been ages since I went on a spree! well, it wasnt exactly a spree, spree. I still had to plan my budgets. but well, I'm satisfied! hee. I've got a new sling bag (it's black and club-like), a pair of black socks (and I'm sill deciding on whether to wear them or use them as my hp covers. hee!), mien nail polish (dude, it's the one nessa tested on me! cool colour!) and last but not least, "Did the Earth Move?" by Carmen Reid.
no one would have any idea, how long it took me to complete my list. fickled-me, couldnt decide on which bag to grab. so we spent quite sometime walking between the 2 shops. haa! the worst that happened was finding the book. I found one at kinokuniya and another at times bookstore, but they were dog-eared! sheesh. I really had the urge to buy any of those. afterall, the content pages were neat. except the cover-page. sigh! borders were out of stock for "3 in the bed" by carmen reid! sheesh. oh well, so I decided to grab her other book. it's quite good btw. at least, I am enjoying it.

guess we were tryin' too hard to get ourselves tanned, yesterday. jen resembles a lobster! *zips* it's prolly her skin, I gather. *shruggs* oh wells, that poor girl was in pain. haha! I hope I'll stay red for another 2 days. can't wait to swim again btw. haha but I dont know if she's suddering from tanning-phobia. blah!

yay!
think I looked good in both outfits I chose for the occasion. hehe arent I thick-skinned? anw, as I was at the wedding mass, and I felt that the crowd wasnt very enthusiastic. infact, most of them were rather rude, I felt. as the mass was runnin', it's basic courtesy, that if one is in a place of worship should, the very least keep silent in respect for the rest. oh well, that wasnt the worst that happened. alph was there, and I was in total shock! yucks. he wanted to get my number again, I heard. *shudders* shant go on abt how I feel abt this. am tryin' to refrain from over-criticising here. shoosh!
I've nvr seen anyone getting drunk in reality before, seriously. haha it was my first last night! kor fab, simon and ah gu were so mad. all of them were crappin' like idiots! hehe and all their breaths stinked like rubbish! *gags* kor simon was calling godma "pretty" and kor fab was hugging and thanking everybody?! hehe so farnie. he hugged me twice. then he said, "I cannot make it already." wahaha kewt. yups. but poor him, his face turned green! tsk tsk.
godma stole all the limelight last night! here's smth I thought, she was even more gorgeous than the bride. hehe she was in a some-what cheena aka gothic ciong sam. cool aye? she's what I call: ons mom-in-law. everyone was mesmerized by her beauty! 3 cheers for godma! :)
there were little things that made the dinner at hilton more bearable, such as:
1) serene jie was lookin out for me to talk to! :) she's sucha darlin.
2) kor franxis peeled prawns for me, offered to bring me to zouk and taught me howda take photos like a pro! a toast to our cousinship dude!
3) the kids, esp justin, muh loverboy. hehe he gave a me a kiss! *muacks!*
4) sorh sorh theresa, she was so sweet in everyway.
this is the first joyous occasion after mama's death and this marks a new chapter in most of our lives. many of us are looking forward to the new destiny laid out for us. esp the newly wed and kor franxis.
I could sense how much kor franxis would miss home once he leaves for the retreat. I saw him giving little princess a goodnight kiss, helping his dad down the stairs, taking pictures with the family to bring along and doin' everything before he starts living the life of Christ. I know I'm gonna miss him lots, esp that I just got to know him better recently. but since it's God's call, I am gonna be proud. I should be. the family's gonna have another priest!
